Not at all. I've yet to see ANYONE wearing the proper mask so the fitting is a non-issue. Further it's obvious tthat they wear the same mask over and over again once more rendering the act pointless.

I wear a shemagh when required. Looking like a mid-Eastern terrorist encourages the numb nuts to keep their distance. :D
 
I wear a cloth mask that serves only one purpose (had Covid before mask mandates and the so-called vaccine):

Advertising my favorite sports team.

Your assertion isn't that masks aren't effective. Instead you seem to be asserting that if worn improperly, the effectiveness of masks is reduced. I have not disputed that...most things aren't effective if done improperly. If you wear a seatbelt wrong and get in an accident, the protection is reduced. That doesn't mean that seatbelts aren't effective....they are.

A total of 19 randomised controlled trials were included in this study - 8 in community settings, 6 in healthcare settings and 5 as source control. Most of these randomised controlled trials used different interventions and outcome measures. In the community, masks appeared to be effective with and without hand hygiene, and both together are more protective. Randomised controlled trials in health care workers showed that respirators, if worn continually during a shift, were effective but not if worn intermittently. Medical masks were not effective, and cloth masks even less effective. When used by sick patients randomised controlled trials suggested protection of well contacts.

You forgot to highlight "respirators."

Let me help:

Medical masks were not effective, and cloth masks even less effective.

You can try to help, but since you misunderstand the results of the study, all you're doing is trying to be right when you're not. Maybe in the next thread you will prove how medical professionals and doctors are wrong. Good luck!

Again, the OP isn't about wearing or not wearing a mask. It literally is attempting to say that masks are useless, which is not correct. Not only that, it's a continuation of the same bullshit narrative...multiple threads making the same bullshit claim.

Absolutely choose to wear or not wear a mask....but don't do so based on a lie.

Doctors know that it's a lie based on more complete information (because it's their fucking job to know more about the care of their patients than Rightguide)
