The Chinese are totally masked up and have been for a LONG time now. The nearest estimate is that there are over 250 million cases of the Wuhan Flu running through the population. If the efficacy of the masks were all that great there would be no where near those numbers in their population.

I'm not opposed to masks and there are some people that should not only wear the masks but take all of the other precautions as well. But they aren't a magic shield and mandatory edicts are nothing more than pointless exercises in power handed down by people that for the most part ignore their own mandates.

When dealing with a highly contagious virus, anything that adds to prevention, even in the slightest, is better than nothing.
