Crap, not good. Sounds like the time I heard the shower running, and I went in and it wasn't, but water was coming out of the light fixture in front hall on the floor below (steel cap on copper pipe, not a good plan).

That reminds me
I was in a bottom floor condo. The girl living above me was trying to wash a down comforter. The washer over flowed. Flooding her place. I had water from her place in my laundry room. The light fixture filled with water. Like a fish bowl. There was some water on the floor. I informed the landlord. They checked it out. Told me she’d been told before to not wash blankets and or comforters in the washer. She got evicted.

Perfect until someone flushes the toilet. Then the water pressure drops and the temperature changes.

I've been surprised to find out the water pressure in the shower is rather low. But that might be due to the shower head. I'm not too fond of it anyway.

A simple change out will help solve that issue. If not, its the pipes.
