Thank you But I keep getting closer and closer to 40 and these guys in their 20s? I just don't compare with girls their age. It's not me being hard on myself, it's just a fact. I'm not against it completely, though. It just makes me feel a little skeptical and insecure. I guess in the same breath, I don't want to be someone's 'older woman' kink.

I will totally admit to laughing too hard when I see news like "man found running around jacksonville without pants after woman steals his pants and car" and you read, and he is this like 55 year old dude explaining how this really hot like 21 year old chick just started throwing herself at him, just out of the blue, while he was parking his car, and he takes her to a hotel, starts to get undressed, then as soon as his pants hit the floor, she grabs and runs. Of course, the wallet and car keys are in the pockets. Like dude, what did you think was going to happen. Just really hoping hot tamale over there has a boring bald dude with a beer gut fetish going on.

I think it's a mindset. I found that I felt more comfortable with older women when dating, even if it was just a couple few years older.

Many of the younger women I encountered while dating seemed so insecure about what they wanted in a partner, or maybe, I was just not what they were looking for. I was a fairly intense person at the time, necessarily because of the physical nature of the work I did, and how desperately financially poor I was.

Now that makes me feel old. Just like when my Dad called me last night to tell me that so and so died and I might know him because we're the same age. This guy was 41, and I'm 38! Both my parents thought I was in my 40s
