I have a friend with a semicolon on her wrist. She suffers from mental health issues and that's her "code" to other sufferers dealing with issues such as depression and suicidal thoughts. It's a bonding thing.

Wow, I'm boring AF. No piercings, no tattoos. I'm not against getting one, just haven't seen one yet that I feel I need to make a permanent part of my body.

There are tattoos I strongly considered getting in my 20's because I was SURE I would always love them.

I am thankful to myself for not getting them everyday because now in my 40's I no longer love the things I was CERTAIN about getting a tattoo for in my 20's.

Not talking about tribal designs or anything that just looks cool. But the idea of getting that tattoo of my favorite sports team when I was 20 was a really good one to chicken out on because they annoy me now
