I find it fascinating how sometimes, when things are very dark, it awakens my soul and spirit to just pick up my American Fender Stratocaster, turn the amp up stupid loud, and let ‘er rip. I do not do it often at high volume, because I love my neighbors. But they have so far always forgiven me for having a “wish I were on stage again” moment. 🤣🤣🤣

I walked into the main entrance of the MGM Grand on Las Vegas blvd years ago, and there was a tunnel made of clear plexiglass (I assume it was) through the lion’s pen. Two males were laying on top of the tunnel section when I walked through, and I was astounded by how huge those animals are! They are not there anymore, been gone for several years. But it left a very lasting impression on me.

They are very large animals…like you said, astoundingly large if you haven’t seen them up close before. It gives you a true idea just how dangerous nature is.
