I sometimes do that over weekends. I sleep normally 7.5 hrs but if you let me I can easily do 12. It’s called beauty sleep and the more we do the prettier we are

Well, the most earnest answer I can give is: A) a lot of public schools have lowered their standards simply because they get punished if they don't graduate kids

B) because our educators are overworked and underpaid, students who need the most help don't always get it

C) See above re: America's unique ability to celebrate ignorance.

Yes! I went through the education program in college (double major) and when I got to student teaching and really realized how much “not teaching” or even “not interacting with my students” there was going to be, plus all the politics, I noped right out of there
