Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

As promised, my favorite gluten free breakfast cookie recipe:

1 cup (100g) rolled oats,
1/2 cup (55g) almond flour,
1/2 tsp baking soda,
1/2 tsp salt, (I use no salt – your choice),
1/2 cup (125g) tahini (Substitutes are any nut butters, cashew, or peanut butter),
1/4 cup (80g) maple syrup (Substitutes include honey or molasses)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional add egg to hold the cookie together better.
1/2 cup (60g) Chopped Medjool Dates or any dried fruit like dried cherries, cranberries, or even raisins – be creative!

Simple direction:
preheat oven to 350F.
Mix all wet ingredients and gently blend until smooth.
Add oats and mix, add fruit, and then flour until consistency is firm but still sticky.
Drop tablespoons of cookie mix on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Cook for 10 – 12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.
Cool on rack.
A batch waiting for their turn in the oven. I'm pretty sure this turned out too dry...

Ran out of oats, some is rolled quinoa. Didn't have tahini and maple syrup but crunchy peanut butter and honey. And cranberries instead of dates.

There has been a serious amount of nerding game talk around here. So many acronyms I have no idea what they mean... I feel even more lost than with sportball stuff...I generally can kerp straight which kind of equipment goes with different sports ball thingees.
And it is clearly Sunday with all the church talk. @Indiesoul you totally crack me up.
And... ummm I forget who said the translation of scripture wasn't a particularly good one from the Greek.... pony up - I want the better translation please. (And yes... there are quite a few clergy types around Lit, current and former practioners of this or that faith and religious fetishism too - something for everyone)
I heard about Lit-togethers back when I was new and boy howdie was there drama all over the board after.

Oh - happy Sunday!
Oh Cassie, if only you could have been in my head at Mass today. I couldn't get this group and our topic of conversation this morning out of my mind. 😆

If that means do you like Sunday brunch, then yes!
If that means do you make it at your house regularly when you don’t have company coming over then no.
😂
It's like when you envision this huge, scrumptious feast with removes and desserts and four courses.

And then you make a hamburger 😊
