Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I dont mean to add to issues and tried to be as polite as I could but felt that if there is conflict its better to leave especially as some bridges cannot be rebuilt and to continue down the same path would lead to more pain for all parties.
If I was ever to be in the same situation I would bow out myself as quietly as possible.
I will leave, but not yet. I will not speak, or make contributions of any sort, just watch while I look for other threads to exist on. I have a few friends here, still. I have to get Chaos out of my mind, and go back to living in the outside world apparently where I belong!

Lots of ups and downs and sportsball and grief and anger and sadness and thank god for boobs and asshole music and people drinking and cooking

I've not been able to be on much this week... I'm sad about Sin and doing my best to not wallow in the stuff that's difficult and painful all around me.
So... I've started my day late and with peppermint liquor in my hot cocoa. (@Mrtenant would be proud of me)
More than you well ever know ♥️

Hugs for ALL of my chaos peeps

Hugs and care as you mark this 6 month anniversary. Grief is a strange road and I am so glad you have found some respite here with this crazy gang of Lit misfits

This is a great quote... I do my very best to be authentic and real all of the time even tho, like anyone else, sometimes I'd just like to hide under the covers.
Blanket Fort anyone???
Yesssssss ♥️

Um…is this one of theirs off cultural differences?
To get carded means to be asked to provide proof of legal age to drink/buy or be served alcohol.
Once you are a woman of a certain age it feels a bit like a victory to be asked to prove you are over 21.
But these days it just feels silly as I could easily have my own 21 yo. 🤣🤣🤣

Ok, now I understand the excitement. Card for me is credit card, that's why I couldn't understand all the ladies excitement......
Sorry, I live on the other side of the pond and English is not my first language. :giggle:

I had such an amazing time in Scotland....wish you coulda shown me around a bit.

Awwww Brenda Bear ❤❤️
We love you all the time. Big hugs

I doubt anyone has you on ignore. Please be kind to yourself... I can feel the heat of your pain here on the other side of the globe.
So many people are here on Lit because of things in their lives not being what they want. Do your best to extend kindness and grace... it is impossible to know the difficulties people are facing on the other side of the screen.
And @Nevyn_Black - hugs honey. Both you and Braveheart are acting out of a protectiveness of people you love and care about here. You two are more alike than either of you might like to admit.
Hug it out now please. 💯🫂💯

Dude!!! Those look amazing. I'm on my way over.
The more the merrier!

A high school English teacher I had many years ago announced on the first day of class that English was not our first language either. I guess now we’d claim we speak ‘Merican. 🤷‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I admire you and all the others participating on an English language forum when English is your second, third or fourth language. I doubt any of the US folks in here would be able to do half so well.
And I appreciate seeing and learning the cultural differences. it's part of what makes Lit so rich for me... that I have the privilege of interacting with people from all over the world
❤️

Thanks! You're kind and make me blush a bit. And thanks for clearing thing out.
It's one of my reasons as well being here. So I'm not afaid to ask stupid questions. If I don't I'll never learn. :)
