Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Once more, because I feel her so keenly here, and it's our Sin, badass and sweet:

Uh-oh, running out of breath, but I
Oh, I, I got stamina
Uh-oh, running now, I close my eyes
Well, oh, I got stamina
And uh-oh, I see another mountain to climb
But I, I got stamina
And uh-oh, I need another love to be mine
Cause I, I got stamina
Don't give up; I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
Don't give up; I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
I'm free to be the greatest, I'm alive
I'm free to be the greatest here tonight, the greatest
The greatest, the greatest alive
The greatest, the greatest alive
Well, uh-oh, running out of breath, but I
Oh, I, I got stamina
Uh-oh, running now, I close my eyes
But, oh, I got stamina
And oh yeah, running to the waves below
But I, I got stamina
And oh yeah, I'm running and I'm just enough
And uh-oh, I got stamina
Don't give up; I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
Don't give up; I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
I'm free to be the greatest, I'm alive
I'm free to be the greatest here tonight, the greatest
The greatest, the greatest alive
The greatest, the greatest alive
Oh-oh, I got stamina
Oh-oh, I got stamina
Oh-oh, I got stamina
Oh-oh, I got stamina
Hey, I am the truth
Hey, I am the wisdom of the fallen; I'm the youth
Hey, I am the greatest; hey, this is the proof
Hey, I work hard, pray hard, pay dues, hey
I transform with pressure; I'm hands-on with effort
I fell twice before; my bounce back was special
Letdowns will get you, and the critics will test you
But the strong will survive; another scar may bless you, ah
Don't give up (no no)
I won't give up (no no)
Don't give up, no no no (nah)
Don't give up; I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
I'm free to be the greatest, I'm alive
I'm free to be the greatest here tonight, the greatest
The greatest, the greatest alive

Good morning Chaos. I had a decent day of wood working yesterday, so I am primed for more today. I expect to be nearly finished a rolling room divider and may get started on speaker stands (gotta do something while I wait for the shellac to dry).

First breakfast (scrambled eggs thickened with whipping cream, home fries, sausages and biscuits). Quick trip to the Hardware, Drug and Liquor stores and the Butcher then into the sawdust factory.

What is everyone else doing?

(Leafs-Bruins tonight?)
Morning Tan:
Just a mello out day today!

Looks kike you have some cooking expertise. A great breakfast. I used to be so motivated when I had someone to cook for.
It really does make a difference!

But it also matters if that someone expresses liking your cookings. My late husband had a limited oldfashioned taste, and seldom told if he liked it unless it was extraordinary in his opinion. And he didn't respect dinner time. Made me wait and kept reading through dinner. I lost my motivation totally, just cooked because I have to eat anyway, but I couldn't even cook many things that I love because he wouldn't eat them. (I had a list of "alone dishes" that I made when he was away.)

Now when my D is coming, we usually eat together, meaning I cook for him. I even take sinne with me as I go there - in restaurants he pays, and he had actually thought I could take takeout with me to his place, but I rather cook. And I've found the joy of cooking again! It has turned out he likes or even loves anything I do. Even things that he was suspicious of beforehand. Doesn't matter if it's totally new to him, he's not limited to old comfy foods. So I cook gladly. Even this weekend I eat what I've made for him yesterday.

I feel for you man, grief is horrible to get over and sometimes that never happens entirely. But we love you!❤😂

Today I will soon be walking the old dog, clean up, nake a big lunch (being creative and sees what develops), then off to a college womens basketball game with friends and perhaps dinner with some other friends.

I miss my wife who loved everything I cooked and we would explore new recipes together. It was our joy. Today I focus on healthy baking for my grandchildren. I sometimmes make a good daibetic meal that gives me leftovers. I plan to share and review a few.
