Too sweet? Best if it comes from beer that has been barrel aged…pastry stout and even then small pours work best.re weird beers, I am not sure about this trend toward chocolate beers....like I really want to love one, but every one I tried was so not what I wanted.
Right now gingerbread ale, nice tang to it.Weird beers. Whats your go to? They pay my bills kinda.
Maybe but she’s a great cuddlerOk so it's a girl dog thing! Lol
Awesome. Well thanks for supporting us. It is fun making up weird stuff.Right now gingerbread ale, nice tang to it.
I'm the girl that will go into any craft brewery and order the beer nobody else does usually stout.

My grandpa used to make his own beers on a smaller scale and I was his test subject and drinking buddy.Awesome. Well thanks for supporting us. It is fun making up weird stuff.

Yes homebrewing is fun and where I started. It is a lot of work. What state are you in?My grandpa used to make his own beers on a smaller scale and I was his test subject and drinking buddy.
Now I go all over the state once a month just to try out new ones with a bunch of friends it's great down time, you can see the passion for the work from the brewers they really love their jobs!
You want a sweet beer with chocolate is that what you are saying?too stout lol. so what kind is "too sweet". might give it a try![]()

I think so, or at least less bitter. I don't know what I want half the time. When I go to a bar, I ask for something girlie, sweet, but will knock me on my ass. they always make a good choice though. Apparently, strangers know what I want better than I do. Story of my life. You want a sweet beer with chocolate is that what you are saying?
good morning. I think you mostly missed banter, but I was half lit, so what do I know.Mornin Fam, hope everyone is good.
Been a heavy past 24hrs. Here's to the future and the roads it takes us.
I've skipped like 30 pages since I crashed out, if I missed boobs or anything else of equal importance can someone give me notes?
Need to go find coffee, the gin from last night is starting to make its presence felt
I think you need ale based chocolate beer, ales are lighter, less bitter and hold some sweeter flavours better.I think so, or at least less bitter. I don't know what I want half the time. I think it just depends. Ales are probably generally sweeter than lagers but most ales have more grain, higher ABV and therefore sweeter. Unless they have a shit ton of hops to help balance out. That would not work for chocolate beer.I think you need ale based chocolate beer, ales are lighter, less bitter and hold some sweeter flavours better.
once. I will keep that in mind. maybe I should go again. I don't get out muchI think it just depends. @Justadesperatewifeandmom have you ever been to swamphead brew in Gainesville? They have some decent stouts with chocolate. That Dougs Dairy series you might like. Trying to think of semi-regional stuff for you.
Going out is overrated. Liquor store and couch are way betteronce. I will keep that in mind. maybe I should go again. I don't get out much![]()
