Above the knee would probably go better with a short leather skirt than leather pants.

Knee high books would be too hot with leather pants. I would melt at the Ren Fair here in Las Vegas!

These would both work fine with the chain mail/fantasy look, I say go for it. As for period heels they were more worn by men of the era, women's shoes were typically flat till Italian courtesans began wearing them. And the ones they worse ended up looking more like very ugly platform shoes.

Hmmm, I've got the long dark hair and olive skin to probably pass for one of those.

Now all I need is a sword. Or maybe a cute dagger with a fancy, jewel encrusted (real jewels - I want to be as authentic as possible lol) handle or something :giggle:

Well I think you can replace the word “life” in the quote with “The Chaos thread” and have a fitting thread motto. Because at any moment in time one decides to drop in here, we never know what the hell we may be dropping in on!

Furthermore, I believe the Chaos thread has become the center of the Playground world. It’s hard to disagree with 79,000 posts and 528,000 views!

I think it is also a health check for the rest of the board too. It’s pretty much like one of those playground merry-go-rounds…I want to get on and spin around. If the Playground is slow at that moment, it’s much easier to slip in and hop on. But if there’s a lot of activity going on in the playground, sometimes Chaos is spinning so fast that it just flings me back into space without a clue of what’s going on in here! It’s like trying to post only to find out you are already five pages behind at the speed of light!

I am responsible for more of the 528,000 views than I am for the 79,000 posts. But I do enjoy looking in to throw in a comment here and there before it speeds up and hurtles me back into space once again.

So, carry on and have fun. I’ll continue to run around the outside and hop on when Chaos achieves turtle speed!

A dagger I think would look a bit sexier with the outfit so far. Perhaps strapped to your thigh with a jeweled pommel and a rose wood handle.

I wouldn't worry about authenticity at this point the chain mail bra already went straight to fantasy, but a very nice fantasy.

As has already been said this is chaos, shoes, swords, guns, woodworking, boobs, just about everything goes here.
