I shock myself somedays, realistically my day starts at about 2pm when I head to work, get there for 3, out between 11:30 and 12, the a couple of hours in the gym, I get home around 2:30 in the morning.

Sorry, I’m clearly not aware of whatever types of cars you are used to. I only buy American, so maybe that is the difference. But in my 40 years of driving, and easily owned over 50 cars, I have never even seen an automatic that doesn’t allow you limit the upshift to any gear. Including the 8 speed I currently have in my truck.
