Pondered this for some time. And have now convinced myself that Lindi carries around a live bat, just in case. Probably hanging upside down in a jacket pocket, sleeping.

I’ve not quite worked out yet tho when it comes in handy. The best I’ve come up with is she’s stuck in an abandoned mine (think the Goonies meet Indiana Jones) and someone says “If only we could echolocate our way out of here”. And Lindi says “did someone say echolocate…?”
