My condo building is now requiring us to have smoke/carbon monoxide alarms installed, and one of the maintenance guys came by today to install mine. The one I bought has a digital female voice telling you the alarm's reason for concern. "Fire. . . fire. . . fire" is what came out when they tested it.

This got me thinking: How sad is it they haven't made these things with celebrity voices. Naturally, the first one I thought of was Samuel L. Jackson (of course!).

So what is everyone’s favorite place?

Just a quick drive by before I crash (busy day). My favourite placein the world is a tiny tea lake (named for thd colour due to peat) in Ontario called Mislaid Lake (its not on any maps). Its a rough 10km hike to get there. Surrounded by White Pine forest and blueberries. Sunrise and set are spectacular. So is the peace and quiet.
