Well I do appreciate the end result! Just for me uncomfortable things and positions can threaten the desired effect. I'm rather sensitive like that - I am easily disturbed by discomfort and totally turned off by pain.

I've seen those. Seems like it would function like a more flexible version of the under bed restraint system we have. Ours has 4 straps that reach to each corner of the bed, so same general idea, but those leather straps you could get alot more creative with attachment points and all. Especially having a king sized bed, we don't have much wiggle room with our restraints.

I think so too - this one allows for more positions. Doesn't necessarily mean more wiggle room for me though I suspect my ankles and wrists will be very much in one position, not using chains but just locking them onto the attachment points. But... I like that idea. It calms down my trashing which sometimes frightens even myself.

To be honest, me too. I’m photo sensitive and have had a melanoma removed already… I usually lie in the sun for 5 minutes heavily sunscreened, but this whole ramble is far less exciting that my previous remark

I think it's the same as with drills. It's easier to ask for help if you have tie device(s) yourself.

Rope is light.. The Security people get all pissy if its in your carryon, but in a checked suitcase with a pair of hikers, no problem.
