Was it because you approved of the targeting or are you trying to revise your personal posting history to make yourself look more prescient?

I've never liked poorly enforced terms of service. I've never been shy about saying so.

I also don't care that much. Facebook has far wider reach than Twitter. Revealing that social media is shit at handling this, whether it's twitter or Facebook, is just telling us what we already know. There are plenty of other options and more being made every day.

They sure aren't beefing up any border security, but the big blue cities are crying about how they need more Federal money to take care of these people (after having touted them as the backbone of our economy).

That's certainly one aspect of it but I'm tying it back to the intelligence apparatus. It serves their bureaucratic aspirations as well.

The one thing I've learned over the years is that once a bureaucracy reaches a certain size it no longer serves the needs of the citizen, it begins to exist for it's own purposes only.
