We had an earthquake about 7-8 years ago. It's very unusual here and it's the only one I've experienced.
It was in the morning and I was standing beside the bed when the house started to vibrate and it sounded like a huge bowling ball rolled by outside the house. A very strange feeling.

That bowling ball thing is a good description of most earthquakes. Some of them are very different. Some have only a few sudden jolts while others start soft and build up and seem like they aren’t going to stop.

I was on the phone with my stepmom about thirty miles away for one good roller. I felt it first and told her about it, it was just ending when she was saying “Hmmm, nothing here - oh here it comes!”

I never had the bowling bowl, it was always a soft build up. The jolts I felt in England, but it was so brief, I'm not even sure it was one.

I have. The 2nd time I even asked for it. My Dom is into less common bondage things. Apparently other women hadn't even agreed to trying it, which I find weird - some of the other items are more or less uncomfortable, but it's possible to be in a straitjacket for hours without problems. Even hands cuffed together behind back gets uncomfortable sooner.

Being bound is comforting, per se. With the right person, of course. Can be damn hot, too.
