I have generally been feeling cold, but here in Las Vegas the daily high is around 50 degrees or higher which isn’t that cold. I assume it is just because I am generally freaked out these days.

Here on Ontario's West Coast the high was 0C/ 32F. I got looks at the Hardware Store for not wearing a coat (it was 30 feet from my truck to the door)...a woman inside had knee length yoga pants and Birkenstocks on bare feet and a winbreaker over a tank top.

Its all a matter of perspective I guess. We know the nasty stuff is coming...later

I think we all adapt to our environments. Since I was in 115+ weather just a few months ago, 50 feels cold to me. When I lived in the Pacific Northwest, 50F would be just long sleeve shirt weather.

That’s my theory anyway.

I'm going to Winnipeg at the end of January. When the average low is -24 C/-11 F.

I never claimed to possess a whole lot of common sense.
