It's a beautiful sunrise this morning. Snow covered ground, a clear blue sky and not a cloud in sight. The down side is -13°C/8,6°F and I have to get out to do some errands today.

-12°C, all covered by clouds. I have things to say do at home before leaving for the date (by bus btw, don't fancy cleaning my car again). And my throat still feels suspicious.

I feel like we did the right things with them, but fuck me if we didn’t take risks. We let those kids be themselves. We told them straight up that we didn’t have all the answers and when they asked important questions we asked them what they thought before telling them what our best guesses were and why we thought that way.

We told them all that it was up to them, and if someday they wanted to be circumcised that would be their choice.

The greatest risk of all may be to protect too much. To stop them from living.

Agreed. And honestly, I would have preferred to make the mistakes I'm making now when I was much much younger. The sooner you learn, the sooner you'll become a better person.

On a happy note, I just found out I can open a can of heinz chicken soup and just add pasta to make a delicious breakfast. My tummy feels so warm

Bath 2/4 of mustard simmering, and I'm finally having breakfast. Might even make batch 3/4 before leaving, it would be ready just around 3 pm - I just have to get enough jars from the cellar.
