One of my greatest weaknesses is measurement conversions… like if I look at a liter of soda it seems smaller than a gallon of milk so I’m assuming you all get even more screwed… any good?

Canada has higher taxes on gasoline, especially with the carbon tax currently in effect to discourage consumption. The United States has the cheapest gas of any OECD country except maybe Mexico. We literally have no right to complain, but we do.

And the GST / HST (like the VAT in the UK) is charged on top of the Federal and Provincial fuel taxes. Yes, we invented a tax on a tax.

Second, I don't do selfies. I don't like my appearance to start with, and I didn't look much better when I was 80 pounds lighter. I had dinner last night with a friend of mine from out of town, and he wanted to do a selfie together for social media thingies. I was nervous; I didn't really want to do it. But I did, and besides, my friend weighs over 400 pounds. I look svelte by comparison.

One US gallon = 3.785 liters. Therefore, two two-liter bottles are slightly larger than a gallon.
