I give my parents homemade mustard every single year. It's perfect for the ham that is almost a standard part of Finnish Xmas dinners.

You remind me of my in-laws .
They always arrive with gifts for all their kids and grandkids and it seems like they spent all of December getting ready…
Well I picked them up at the airport once as they were coming into town for the holidays. They asked to stop at a big box store on the drive in. They were in and out of the store in an half hour and were harassing people at the gift wrap station - I think they bought their way to the front of the line.
While my wife’s mom was filling out name tags her dad went back and picked out dozens of greeting cards.
He looked at me and said, “You’re going to have to drive slow while we fill these out.”
They were done in an hour.

You know, for the most part they did pretty well. They mostly got sports gear, nice accessories, kitchen stuff and age appropriate toys. I was blown away.
They got me and my wife one of those automatic coffee makers that takes the k-cups. We didn’t really it want it so we regifted it to some friends who did.
They tend to give monetary gifts too or stays at their various timeshares, so a lot of the wrapped things are just sort of place keepers - three dimensional gift cards?
Still, picking out the gift cards seemed psycho. He’d just pick out cards as they caught his eye, it’s a bit of a joke among my wife’s siblings, almost like opening a fortune cookie to see what your card is going to say. I’ve got a card from them implying that they raised me.

Y’all. My dog got into something out at the build site and she is all lumpy and hived up. Annnnnnnd now she’s stoned on benedryl. The vet is having me try benedryl until tomorrow and then steroids if it doesn’t stop. Poor thing looks like she has mange.
