Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Morning chaos.
@LupineOne Thailand? That is awesome! I will be in Japan for the same time. I am so excited as I’ve never been to Asia. Have a great trip! (It’s pleasure not business…right?)
@TANSTAAFL58 these are not my photos just internet sourced(where I tried to match ingredients that were in everyone’s recipes with the photos I used 😜). If folks have photos of their own items I would be happy to update the cards.
I am rather fond of the image I used for the bear curry… @LupineOne the image of a wolf arranging rice into a bear shape makes me giggle.

Hey all… just wanted to say thanks for the distraction this morning with the pervy astrology and recipes! Had to take my mother to the hospital last night - well, urgent care clinic & they sent her right to the hospital - because her cough of the last couple of weeks turned into pneumonia (and hopefully that’s all). So it’s been a fun night and a fun day ahead I’m sure. I think I’ll probably join Musey in a few pots of coffee!

As promised @cascadiabound :

Homemade Old Fashioned Mix

Ingredients:
· ¾ cup rye whiskey, such as Sazerac Rye or Jim Beam Rye
· Scant ½ cup Angostura bitters
· 2 ½ cups Turbinado or other raw sugar
· 5 whole cloves
· 7 allspice berries
· 2 star anise

Method:

Heat whiskey and bitters in a small pot over medium heat until warm. Add cloves, allspice, and star anise. Gradually add sugar, stirring constantly, until it’s incorporated. Bring to a boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, or until sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove from the heat, let cool slightly. Add 2 shots rye to help preserve your
syrup. Strain and funnel into a sanitized bottle or Mason jar. Store in the refrigerator.

For a superb Old Fashioned:
Add ice to an old fashioned glass. Put 1-2 tablespoons of Homemade Old Fashioned Mix over ice. Add 2 shots brandy or rye whiskey. Top off glass with soda of your choice, stir.

Enjoy!

*Note: If sugar crystalizes, heat jar in the microwave, stirring occasionally until sugar redissolves. You can add a few tablespoons of water if necessary.
Yowza. Nice! Going to try this for sure.

Coffee time. Pot number 3. 😬

I might have a problem.
Might? lol.

Like a little blood in your coffee stream, do you?

Ah... and here I thought you had a standing phone sex appointment in the morning, but again, that was when you said it'll be weird :D
I need one of THOSE!

Okay...I feel like the Cancer folks got a bit shorted.
Here is another source:
"Sex with a Cancer is a downright magical experience. Guided by the natural sway of their ocean of emotions, Cancers go through phases (which makes sense, considering they’re ruled by the moon). One day, they might feel incredibly horny and turned on, but as soon as they feel too exposed, they’ll creep back into their shell! In order for a Cancer to truly enjoy the experience, they have to be completely vulnerable and emotionally invested. But when a Cancer finds a partner that matches their energy, the sex is something out-of-this-world. They have a caring and nurturing vibe that makes you feel completely safe with them, even when you’re completely naked. Secretly, everyone wants to sleep with a Cancer, and it’s probably because they’re famous for having great breasts. Don’t forget to stimulate a Cancer’s erogenous zones!"
OK who is first?

That is terrible! I hope she is better soon.
