I so agree about those firmly held beliefs. Particularly here, there are a lot of people here that genuinely care about each other even though they likely have drastically different views about politics, or whatever issues are on their minds. It does my heart so much good to see people connecting in the modern world.

So no making fun of the flat earthers! Or if you are a flat earther, no making fun of round earthers!

I left years ago but still feel connected to the land. I can not move back because the politics make me suicidal, truly. I agree with parts of both sides, and hate both sides at the same time because they strive to divide. Please, somebody drop a piano on me. I cannot deal with all this hate.

How about we drop pianos on haters instead?

Ooh, better yet: we save the piano, hire a pianist to play you a nice, calming melody while we drop piles of bricks on the haters? More cost effective, and bricks are reusable for this purpose.

Me too. We read it as high school freshman with our giant of an English teacher. It was awesome.

I got sent to the county library because I read everything at the high school. The librarian was that English teacher’s wife. She ended up bringing me books from her personal collection and then having an informal book club with me after school when I worked on the newspaper.

Those are the parts of high school I miss. The rest was just bullshit.

I ain’t got that kind of time for all these haters to be bricking them all into walls! Plus my masonry skills aren’t what they used to be.

May even upgrade my plan to catapults flinging haters into a brick wall. Even more cost effective, once we have the funds for the catapult that is. George Carlin would be proud.

I didn’t do a whole lot of reading in high school. Was too busy fighting people and getting suspended. Still maintained a 4.0 GPA though, which was the only thing that kept me from expulsion.

Yeah, really. No bullshit. I responded with three other guys to combat a 15ft flame after telling everyone nearby to gtfo. Got it under control though before the fire department arrived and no one was hurt.

Can’t hardly breathe though. Nothing like breathing in smoke caused from highly concentrated sulfuric acid.
