It does. That is a particularly nice one

It certainly does have its place in the right scenario, and that is indeed a very nice collar!

Past partners that I have been with and introduced to BDSM and collars and posture collars in particular, have all pretty much felt the same initially!
I used to ask them to put the collar on themselves and after a short while remove it themselves. None of them have said it felt 'uncomfortable' ...just you can't ignore that it's just there.

As you eluded to, you have to get the person to associate the wearing and feel of the collar with pleasure - what that pleasure is, is dependent entirely on the dynamic of the people.
