Well, if somehow Twitter suppressed a story.si.ply because a campaign asked them to, that's an issue with Twitter. If it did so for Democrats but not Republicans, it would also be a Twitter problem. But the evidence presented isn't clear about that.

And most people raising hell over this seem to believe Biden was President at the time.

The story isn’t email from a campaign. Both parties sent emails to their connections inside Twitter, although obviously one party was decisively advantaged in that game. The story is about how Twitter employees suppressed a major news story for political purposes and their comical attempt to rationalize the actions.

Yes, Twitter did suppresses a story. Where are the emails from Republicans and where is there evidence that it was.treated differently?

The majority of commentary on twitter seems to confuse the President.

I wasn't disputing that it happened...I'm saying if Twitter suppressed the story, then it's Twitter's issue. And I don't see emails and evidence that the same did not occur for other campaigns.

And even the “It’sTwitter’s issue” doesn’t acknowledge any wrongdoing.

At the time, “Hunter’s laptop” was the very definition of “suspect”.

The chain of custody, the timing, the lack of FBI vetting, and the 2016 Russian interference, were all reasonable considerations when Twitter was deciding how to respond to the “Hunter’s laptop” story.

Twitter didn’t do exactly what BabyBoobs wanted???

Yes, Twitter suppressed the story, it was their issue, and Musk has fired the twits that supervised the suppression. Users such as myself appreciate the new owner for releasing the inside details of what happened and see this as a positive step toward making the platform better for sharing information and ideas.

There was only one person mentioned at Twitter who ok'd the suppression and they were let go.

You appreciate the slanted details which insinuate that somehow one party was responsible....shocker.

What does "handled" mean and what happened to stories that Republican campaigns wanted removed and why?

Seems like the "investigation" was half assed with an agenda.

So if someone got Trump’s taxes in October 2020 Twitter should have let those taxes been shared on the platform, correct?

Of course! The NYT story in 2020 was all over Twitter at the time. It’s a good bet the returns Trump must now turn over to Congress now will be leaked to the press and all over Twitter as well.
