A lot of boys (cousins, class mates) had those. I wasn't really interested but my dad bought me a computer with Win3.1 when I was a teen. It was ridiculously expensive! But with that one I taught myself the basics of using Windows and MS Works, which was of course wildly useful already in high school (though we were not required to do essays, reports etc on computer). In the uni I was shocked to realize that many of my peers had still never used Office. The uni, however, assumed we had... Or that we would just inhale the knowledge somehow.I actually got my first home computer for my kids Commodore 64. I learned how to program it in DOS
I don't mind physical scars, but mental scars can sometimes be hard for the partner to live with.I am old, I like it, earned every scar I got along the way, chicks dig scars![]()
Definitely.I am old, I like it, earned every scar I got along the way, chicks dig scars![]()
Yep, that’s true, but we all have them to some degree. It’s nice to have someone to lean on a little, and to be leaned on. Give and take.I don't mind physical scars, but mental scars can sometimes be hard for the partner to live with.
Ok so are we all trippin on shrooms this weekend to exercise our demons?

I think all my floppy discs are long gone!Commodore 64 in high school. MS DOS in college. I still have some floppy disks somewhere.
So many have scars that barely death with at all. In worst cases it starts with growing up askew, and then adding scars over the years. I think I kind of got more than my share of that with my late husband.I imagine they can be if not dealt with correctly. My heart goes out to those that struggle with them.
Of course nobody is totally free of them. Just there are huge variations. Some are not really ready for any healthy relationship before doing some healing first. Taking care of the worst parts. Just like you don't get out of the hospital before your injuries are sufficiently healed.Yep, that’s true, but we all have them to some degree. It’s nice to have someone to lean on a little, and to be leaned on. Give and take.
I don't know where the quote is from, pretty sure it was on a shirt, but I remember it from my high school days:I am old, I like it, earned every scar I got along the way, chicks dig scars![]()
Bones heal,
Chicks dig scars,
Pain is temporary,
Glory is forever
