Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

There is a lot of truth there! 🥰🥰🥰

At least in my life, one of my core passions is music. When I couldn’t find band mates, I had learned (from a private teacher, staring at age 6), piano. And in music classes in grade school, drums. later, classical guitar at 17 in college. Then rock and roll guitar, bass and the mighty Hammond organs, I taught myself.

After 50 plus years on this planet, I still suck at finding my people and meeting people who “get me” (except here, which is amazing)!

Luckily, I did eventually find myself in a band with serious musicians and it was beyond magical to me! OMG! We had that no need to talk to connect thing! And we triggered each other to new musical heights on stage. One of the highest pleasurable experiences in my life! When you are blessed with the right people around you, the magic can happen.

My quandary today is - can it happen… again?

Sure it can!

My dad took a 30 year break from his music career and got right back into it. I just met a client who at 65 just booked a tour of gigs with his first try at a band.

And yeah, I totally agree about the incredible synergy music can bring - those “holy shit! Did we really just do that?” moments! :) Pure clean fun, even when it isn’t so “pure and clean.” ;)

It can, dont stop dreaming!
Wow - reading this, I had a Journey moment…
Journey - Don’t Stop Believing

I was never a huge Journey fan - did not dislike them, just neutral I guess. I worked at a venue where Journey sold out 3 nights in 1981 and actually met Steve Perry. He was very kind, patient and approachable. I was so impressed, I have been a huge fan of the man, ever since. 🥰🥰🥰

edit: I have no idea what they stuck in there when I first posted, but i think it is fixed now. 🤷‍♀️

Okay, new lesson learned. I was playing around with an online date calculator because a week from today will be 29 years since I met the love of my life. Then I stupidly calculated how long we knew each other - 24 years, 4 days and am now a pile of crying mess. Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! Reaching for the whiskey bottle and my shot glass now… 😢

Didn't even know the band before this 🙂

"very kind, patient and approachable" - I happen to know one of the guys in Nightwish personally (since way before he became famous), and I could describe him with the same exact words. Humble, too, and hardworking. Real stars often are like that.
