Well I feel left out.

I never use the hairdryer, but I always shampoo.

My curly/wavy hair has gotten much more manageable since I started using a cleansing conditioner instead of shampoo & conditioner separately. And only a 1-2/week

Hey Chaos

Made it through the night (no sleep) and morning (napped) into the afternoon.

They did not fuck up the Cheerios. But they also gave me a bowl of hot wallpaper paste that was either supposed to be oatmeal or cream of wheat. Ugh. Lunch was better.

The Doc says I can go home tomorrow. BPis 126/76.

The lake is very dark. We are supposed to get a foot / 30cm of snow.

Bored.

I see I missed pics here while they were poking and prodding me. I may have to sue for malpractice.

I will be around a bit.

I could take half of that snowfall here, if you don't mind. And just enough more coldness to keep it until spring. It's been a bit below freezing point, but not safely enough, and just some 5mm of snow at most - of course better than nothing, but a snowy November and December always beats a black one!

The same here. More manageable AND more pretty!

And only combing while the conditioner is working.

Phew! Got rid of the dust from ceiling to floor. Better for my lungs and better for my allergic D coming tomorrow.

I've also gotten a lot more free floor space this week, and still a bit more tomorrow. Not quite ready yet, but it looks better every week.

Ooh-sounds cool! I love a wild ocean with a dark sky. This makes me wonder it it looks similar.

A ton of treseme deep moisture conditioner loaded on each day. Then I don’t rinse it all out.
Argan Magic intensive hair oil
Got2b ultra glued gel

Fifteen cm or 6 inches of snow is about right to play in. Interpret that how you wish.

I hope this means a white Christmas, but I have been fooled before.

Best for me is to cut it short. Next best is Strictly Curls conditioner and styling foam. No blow dry ever. Put the foam in while hair is damp, and tease with my fingers. Shake my head a bit as it dries to collect the curls.

This is what I’ve learned between my hair stylist who specializes in curly hair and trial and error.

1. Alba Hawaiian Marula Miracle cleansing conditioner a couple of times a week.
2. Gel for curly hair (can’t remember the brand & need more) put in while hair is still soaking wet
3. Scrunch & squeeze out water with hands
4. Use soft t-shirt type cloth to dry more & put up (google the “plop” method for an idea of the type of cloth to use)
5. Air dry & don’t touch much

I’ll use leave in conditioner when it’s really dry.

In between using the above method, if I need to revive the curls (mine are very fine textured), I just mist with water & finger scrunch. Maybe I’ll use something like a curl styling “milk” to smooth any frizziness.
