I completely understand... And I can say with all my heart, I would not wish her passing first on my worst enemy (no idea who that would be), and I felt exactly the same way - and would gladly do it again to save her from that pain. You sir, are awesome!!!

Update:
Last night, my wife had coughing fits that scared her and was struggling to breathe. She refused to go to the hospital. I managed to get her medication inhalers into her and they have sedatives in them. We sat together in our living room loveseat while the meds calmed her and made it easier to breathe. I snuggled to her and ran my hands through her hair as she laid her head on my shoulder and drifted into sleep. I stayed with her until morning as I listened to her easy breathing. I was afraid to sleep. I cried quietly as I prayed to God for mercy for her and for her healing. Passionate men cry, I am not ashamed. I cry a lot!

I think I need my cuddle puddle separate from sleeping time. I tend to kick (not like in my sleep but to get people off me if they’re all up on me when I’m trying to sleep )

I couldn’t do it. I need my personal space to sleep. Otherwise I’m in!

Have you ever slept in a cuddle puddle? I have, as a teen on a camp, we called it "the heap". It was awesome.

That sounds very scary. You are so good to just stay with her. Your love for her is potent.

My wife & I have been married 44 years. She used to be 5ft 6 tall and now because of advanced scoliosis she is about 4ft 9 and in constant pain 24/7, she ha a kyphosis (hump) on her upper back and was told surgery would not change anything. I am totally devoted to her and will do anything she wants or needs. I don't know how she deals with to pain. I get a paper cut and I'm dying. She also has COPD and asthma, and struggles to breathe. We both have no remaining living family, so it is just me taking care of her (she is 65 - I am 68). I hope she passes before me so I can take care of her final wishes. And then I will commit suicide.

That is true love ! I’m so sorry for your situation.

Clicking to ignore all future messages should make it so they can not message you again. I don’t know what happens if they try to send you a message; either it will seem like you have PMs off and they get a message that you aren’t receiving the message, or I suppose it could look to them like they’ve sent it and you just never receive it. Putting them on ignore would also mean they cannot message you again.

Been there, and you won’t commit suicide. You are obviously a good man, and know she would not want that. You will survive, and deal with it. You may not know why, but you will survive.
