What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

Those are both favourites here.
Well, the tuna salad sandwich and the hummus with veggies (and shredded chicken, because teenagers) for dipping. Not the sewer board meetings, however necessary and useful they may be.
It is a lot of fun..... I have learned more about lift stations and pumps than I ever needed to know... it is very cool to be a small cog in the infrastructure of my little village (population 900)

Oh, I totally get that. I feel the same about some orher kinds of meetings.
I’d still not call them house favourites though, because they are somehow always timed perfectly to make a mess of the family shedule.

I didn't cook anything, but I baked a chocolate meringue pie. Does that count?

That sounds like creating a little bit of heaven.

Taco Tuesday, sort of. Mexican chips and dip and thinking about putting taco seasoning into the meat of a stuffed green pepper.

Lunch: rainbow trout mousse made with hot smoked rainbow trout, Philadelphia cream cheese, creme fraiche and onion.
Served it on Swedish knäckebröd, Falu Rågrut to be precise.
I haven’t done this in ages and now I really wonder why.

Vanilla cake with raspberry compote and fudge frosting. I only just started decorating cakes so wasn't satisfied with the design but I like the bloody layers 🧛🏻‍♀️
Happy Halloween 🎃
That’s really cool! I’ve never made a cake so tall.

I made a butternut squash and kale quiche for lunch and had it with salad. It was even better than I expected, I want to eat it all!

A lemon cake is currently baking in the oven.
