Artist for Visual Novel

Hello everyone,

I have been writing some material to make a few Visual Novels. Draft here and there, I ended up with a parallel script of a linear story adequate for a Kinetic Vosial Novel of Graphic Novel.

I have been focusing on small material to promote my writing and game design. A sort of showcase.

It is short (Just 2300 words), has only four characters, four locations (mainly only one is used) and is super fast.

Anyone would like illustrating it?

Are you suggesting this would be either illegal or of any concern whatsoever to the site owners? Following your logic, this board is also not a place to come offering to pay for art.

Addressing the point, I would guess people do it since you'll see, if you check back in the forum, that some artists actually offer to do this occasionally. Long may such generosity continue... even if this attitude isn't shared by all others.

Following your logic, this board is also not a place to come offering to pay for art. Agreed, also not suggesting that it should be a place offering to do paid art, it is supposedly a place to show your own art completed by you as an artist and discussing that art.
Anything regarding commissioning (whether free work or paid work) should really be done via pm rather than in the forum.

And therein lies the problem, just because one person offers to do this occasionally there seems to be an expectation that someone will always want to work for free, as soon as you offer to work for free you become "that artist that works for nothing" and eventually you lose credibility.
Generousity is fine in the right context, I just do not beleive that coming to this particular forum looking for artists to do work for free is right and I will continue to call out those people for what it is, unless I get banned for doing so.

I just thought it would be a nice place to find partners to produce some Vosial Novel content or Graphic Novels.

I have not how to illustrating my stories. I came to check if someone wants a story to work on.

It's pretty simple, actually.

What do you have in mind? About to start drawing some drafts for another author but if yours is fast and simple I might be able to offer you some work if you like my drawing style.

I'm so sorry. Something is happening and I'm losing all notifications. Perhaps a configuration thing.

I got an amazing partner to work on this project from F95 and she is doing a great job.

I have been working on something else at the moment: Just a little longer (I hope), also four characters and this time, with a little more interactivity. It is a story - in a nutshell - of a couple into a convenince marriage which only after two years starts falling apart: A Nymphomaniac struggling with her impulses to keep a decent facade, a man financially broken man who became a sex drone to save himself from bankrupcy, a young woman who lives in a golden cage but fears becoming homeless again and a mature woman who has to step into dirty to keep an image of normality to the family.

I was going to type it pretty fast, but adding more branching that initially predicted messed my outline and slowed the pacing. I belive in just a few days I'll have the outline ready. I also have the forus first scneses on first draft. That's why having someone who wants to work not just as an artist but also as an editor would be nice.

I write almos everything like screenplay, adding a few descriptions where essencial and some action lines. But my way of seeing this time of team work is giving room for the visual artist express ideas visually and do his/her own storytelling and interpretation of the text. Of course I'll be always avaiable for opinions and discussing any idea. But I think each one must be free doing art.
