High heels

I have seen it lived out in the corporate world too.

Every time a lady had enough confidence to dress more traditional-business in the office, scoffing at other ladies that mocked them and spread rumors, in a very short time I watched them rise to positions of importance.

Part of that is their confidence, but so too is the fact that men liked seeing them, and put them in positions where they could be seen more often, and not behind some desk all the time. It stands to reason. Would they want Heather out in the back shipping office unseen, or watching her in heels and a miniskirt adding her input about next year's projections during an otherwise boing meeting?

Wow... Great comment CuttingEdge. I've not been a privy to that life. But I expect at the weekend those Women can just relax and enjoy the night life...

Great point CuttingEdge. This has definitely been my experience too. Although I also attribute it to being more self-conscious as I'm getting older. Or, I should say, being self-conscious about things I wasn't self-conscious about as much when I was younger.

When I started dressing nicer and more professionally, the promotions I got were different (and better!) than the ones that I got back when I showed a lot more skin.

But isn't this also true for guys in the business/corporate world too? Polo shirts and slacks are comfy and nice and many of us women love that look, but sharp suits go a long way for guys looking to climb the corporate ladder too, right?

Oh it is very much true for guys.

As a social experiment where I work, a working man's realm for sure; I decided to start dressing up to and from work, wearing my work uniforms during working hours due to the dirtiness of the job.

After only two days of doing so, upper management approached me with a promotion offer. ONLY TWO DAYS!

It was an interesting experiment.

While this is a thread regarding high heels, and I do not want to get too far off topic, there is a HUGE overall correlation on how one dresses and how one feels.

I am a guy, but I like dressing sharp as I just feel better about myself. Its not about ego either, as I am a Sigma Male in personality, and do not need other people's opinions for validation. Its just nice to have nice clothes, and feel good in them whether I am getting gas, picking up diner stuff after work, or at church.

While I do not wear high heels, part of that overall look is knowing about what colors coordinate and match. To that end, my shoes always match my pants in hue, and my pants always coordinate with my shirt. It makes a huge difference on just looking put-together.

It can be the same for ladies though too. How sorrowful it is that many women dress so frumpy and wonder why they feel the same way. High heels could be part of that, but there are other shoe choices as well... just probably not flip flops!!

I feel the same usually, but especially when I go to the club. I love to dress sharply, and smartly.

IMHO the appeal of flip flops are dependent on the Woman wearing them. They can preview Her feet very nicely. I think I've mentioned this before; I sometimes see this Woman walking past us on the school run. As we've had hot weather, She's in Her flip flops. But I don't see them per se, just Her gorgeous cum worthy feet walking by.

While I admit pumps/heels are significantly different in appearance, when worn, and their affect upon Women and us, it's Women's feet we owe an eternal debt of thanks to. So moreover, if they want a respite from wearing heels/pumps by wearing flip flops for a while, I'm all for it...

omg, if I could leave my heels overnight at work I sooooooooooooooo would now!!!

I wear heels to work every single day and I agree completely with the comment about how they have a certain power over men's perspective of women. I admit I do have "a shoe problem". But aside from being a shopaholic, I too take pride in how I present myself. Like many women, I put a great deal of time, effort, expense and thought into coordinating my outfits head to toe.

That translates to my choice of footwear too. Most of the hotel guests that I deal with in my job are VIP's, so wearing flip flops, sandals, sneakers or any other non-professional footwear would not only NOT get me the respect that I need to get from most of these (sometimes ridiculously) rich, mostly male guests, it would also get me written up by my bosses.

I also need the respect of my male and female support staff, which, dressing professionally and yes, borderline and maybe not so borderline sexy, helps me get.

So, even though I'm already over 5'11" barefoot, I never go to work in less than a 2" heel. And usually it's a 3-4" inch. Sometimes, on special occasions, it's even more (I'll let you all do the math 😲 lol).

Dressing professionally also gets me the respect I need to do my job from female guests and my female co-workers too. Does being naturally tall help? Of course it does. But so does my choice of footwear.

Now, back to this leaving my heels in a public place and coming back to them to see if anyone has "appreciated" them - does anyone know of any No Shoes Allowed grocery stores or shopping malls? :giggle:

(btw - I for one don't judge you for what you did at all UtilityCurve and I am soooo looking for those stories of yours Victoria!)

Here's a scenario I know a few of you foot toys are going to enjoy:

We're going to play a game. It's called Dungeons and Cute Shoes. You're our pathetic foot toy and we're
four beautiful elf queens. Your job is to protect our tootsies from creeps and perverts. Now, take off your
clothes and make your little sword as big as you can to protect us. When you're ready, you pick the winner.
The shoes with the most gooey goodness on them at the end will win. Ready? Go!

Sounds like my kind of game, Goddess... Is there a time limit?...

As someone who's never had a footjob or really been that interested I have to admit you have an ability to find feet and phrases that would make a guy want to explore

Am I the only man who when I see a woman the first thing I do is look at her shoes?
Black pumps have this magnetic hold on me 😊
Not at all

They say the first thing people notice is what you are wearing for shoes, that is why to make a good first impression on anyone it is to wear nice shoes
