Reaction score meaning

On my Forum profile, it shows a reaction score. What’s the significance of it? What does it earn me?
Is this like the prize room at Dave & Busters, where I can get a Literotica coffee mug for X amount of points?

Yep, you can go to the store and buy dildos, butt plugs, leather gimp costumes (if your into that). Just put what you want in your cart, buy it with a credit card and literotica will refund you in full! I think each reaction score is worth a thousand real dollars. At least that's what I've heard. Try it and let us know how it turns out!

It's an indication of how many 'likes' you get on your posts but from what I can tell the sad, angry and shocked emojis don't count.

I thought it was from how many people responded to your threads/comments? I figured people with high scores probably started an endless pic thread.

If you constantly post in the porn threads or you're a PG favourite (eww) you get higher scores. It's a false equivalency, imo.

• how many times you clicked Like or Love or some such on someone else's post?

Or

• How many times you've received feedback on a post?

I hope it is how many times you've clicked on Like or Love. Because at least it shows that you've been active in another way in the forums. We have so many lurkers on this site. I get DM'd by people who have been members for a decade but have a dozen posts. To me that is way creepy. But if I can see that they have a couple of thousand reaction score, well then I would have an indicate that they are providing positive support to the Lit community, even if they aren't particularly "verbal" for whatever reason.

Empirically, it's reactions "received" based on my activity. I have liked/loved a few posts this afternoon and my reaction score was 100 before and 100 after. I have posted pictures of my wife in ampic threads and my reactions score went up. Not sure about the type of reaction mattering, but I don't think I have gotten many negative reacts so far anyway. So it's a measure of other people's reaction to your work, it seems.

The angry react did not add to my total. I got another react from a different post that brought me to 101.
