My friend did that too, mostly with his letter opener. Freaked me out, cause I said it was easy, so he grabbed my hand, and did it to me. I couldn't over his shoulder, but I could feel the air on it. He finally let me go, and I realized the letter opener was on the corner of the desk. He'd just been knocking on the desk around my hand.
