It never occurred to me before, but I don’t care for creepy stuff, but a place that has a reputation for being haunted, and I’m all over that.

The Goldfield hotel is on the highway between here and Tonopaw, and that is legendary haunted. I used to love to go to Virginia City, NV when I lived up north too. That is the place that launched the Ghost Adventures show.

We have a big hotel downtown in Milwaukee that is famous, at least locally, for being haunted. All kinds of bizarre stories. And ghost tours at Halloween.

Never seen or heard anything odd myself, however.

We used to have the haunted hotel in Reed City. It's a parking lot for Yoplait now, but I imagine most of the spooky sounds and occurrences that people reported more probably just squatters and addicts. I did however see an old school in Winchester VA. It had been mostly burned out by Union troops, leaving the staff and students inside. Not saying ghosts, but it was always cold near that lot. Even in August. I'm a sceptic though, so I'm sure there's a rational explanation

Wow! That’s quite a back story! I think people like to call stuff haunted just because they think that’s cool or because someone died there. I don’t personally buy that some place is haunted just because person x says so. But there are some places that have some really freaky stuff happen for real. Not trying to convince anyone, just saying that is my belief.
