Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Ah. I was going to ask if you'd uploaded a file or pasted the text of your story into the "New Story" field. That also makes a difference in approval time. If you upload a file, Laurel has to go through it and insert the HTML tags for any special formatting before publication. I've never submitted an illustrated story, so I wouldn't be surprised if those take longer to get approved. The site guidelines are really strict for those.
The story was submitted as a Word document. I'd say it isn't like me to get impatient, but that would be a lie. It was the first story I've written of its kind, and I'm just really anxious to see how it will be received. Few of my stories have ever gotten more than a 3.5, but most of them were rage written.

I was trying to find some PMs I'd written to other authors who were hitting similar delays after the XenForo rollout in March. I don't know if those were deleted, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I know there are whole threads on the subject in the Author's Hangout. It's possible that a contest has delayed approval times as well.

I hear you, I tend to lurk in the AH, only posting occassionally, but I find that they tend to turn into arguments before any real good points are made. So I always tend to ask Authors directly

I think everyone who actually sleeps is catching up on their sleep. Even most of my gaming friends in the US are offline tonight. The only ones online are in Europe, and they already slept! Bastards.
Yeah, I'm not famous for sleeping myself. Power went out last night, and I switched to reading on my tablet til it came back on. Turns out I still think E.L. James is a hack..... but I guess she knew her audience even if she knew dick about kink.

I'm sorry. I didn't know. Please forgive my American ignorance.
It's starting to get funny, actually. You are the n:th person on this forum I have explained this.

In the 50s, even 60s baths were still installed in apartment blocks. They have since been replaced by shower stalls - I have done it myself in a renovation once. Practically only some people with their own houses have them installed nowadays. Even then hot outdoor bath "barrels" are more common (for 3-8 people) - those can even be rented.

But having a sauna is a completely another thing. Either there is a common one in the apartment complex, or all apartments have their own.
