Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Morning peeps!!! My coffee has never tasted better. 😀
Tried some Costa Rican coffee from the local roaster this morning, and it tasted like burned paste. Now I'm on Amazon looking for a new coffee maker and something called Stumptown Coffee. Anybody heard of it?

Sorry for the bad coffee! 😞 I haven't heard of Stumptown. Let us know how it is. 😀

I often feel the same way about living in Las Vegas. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think, just for the annoying voice of economics this morning...(hi everyone! just got up!)...the biggest thing is that both Vegas and Houston are made livable through air conditioning, and climate change is going to make that worse. Plus, not sure about Texas, but the water shortages in the west are approaching disaster. So it will be...interesting? to see what happens. The great migration to the south and west was largely facilitated by air conditioning, so...well, we'll see.

And we in the US have to understand that Europe is mostly not an airconditioned land, so these heat waves are even less bearable.

lounging in western NY, where it's 72 degrees and perfect
(I rarely get to brag about the weather here!)

And to think that darn near every new house built in the south is off of an asphalt road and has a pool in the backyard..

When I was in Costa Rica in may, I had coffee with beans from there, and I had it with beans from Jamaica. The Jamaican roast was definitely better in my opinion if you’re looking for something different.
