I had a lot of female friends like this they just used me to make them feel better about their lives. The only ones who really stood by me when M passed was Monster and his Mistress its why I still have them as part of my life.
The most stand out one was one of my closer friends it was 2 days after M passed and she rang me up asking for money and told me oh don't worry you will be over him in no time... no bitch I won't he was my husband and its not like we broke up.

That's awful. Not even remotely thoughtful or polite, strangers can be nicer.

My "friend" at least thinks she's helpful, but isn't at all, more likely she'll make me annoyed, which means I don't message her when I'm really needing someone.

Oh, good lord, I had a neighbor a few years back who epitomized that sort of "friend." She would sit out on her front porch for hours offering bad advice to her female friends. She wouldn't let those other women get a word in for most of the "conversation" -- really it was just so she could listen to the sound of her own voice.
