Civilization. I have probably sunk YEARS of my life into that game.

I haven't played in a long time because I had to get my life back. But I've played it from the first version...plus Alpha Centauri, which is a close cousin.

I really wanted to try to figure out how to structure an actual econ class around Civ so that I could justify my time better. It is the MOST addictive game if you get into it at all.

Couldn't agree more. It's designed perfectly so that some achievement or important happening is right around the corner
