Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

My fridge is busting full of 6 different kinds of shrubs (a 17th-18th century) drink whose name is derived from the Arabic word "sharab" (to drink). It is a concentrated syrup made from fruit, vinegar and sugar that is traditionally mixed with water to create a refreshing drink that is simultaneously tart and sweet.
I am planning a 45 minute lecture on the history and the making of them this weekend as part of a living history event where I volunteer.
So.... I have raspberry, lemon-lime, marionberry-lime, strawberry-balsalmic, raspberry-marionberry, and sour cherry shrubs...I keep procrastinating on the development of my lecture, but I will not be running out of product for the public to sample.
Once again, I wish I lived somewhere closer to you! Those sound delicious.

Is marionberry a PNW thing? I’d never heard of it until I moved up there. Same with Walla Walla sweet onions. Those are awesome btw. Makes great onion rings.
