Mar-A-Lago raided by FBI

Anyone remember Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France in the early days of the Obama administration? He's been convicted of crimes subsequently. Is France also a "police state?"

The idea that we can't look into possible crimes committed by a president because it will "look political" gives license to criminals who happen to become president.
even more, it will ENCOURAGE criminals to aim for that position

Trump is so repulsive there must be something they can get him on. I hope they keep looking for it.

It’s not the responsibility of the FBI or any other law enforcement agency to search till they find a crime but unfortunately that’s where we’re at. Guilty till proven innocent. So much for equality under the law. Nazis tactics, entrapment, prosecutorial malfeasance and prosecutions based on process errors.

Starting with Obama, the most corrupt president in history. Investigations are predicated on crimes committed not predicated on the possibility of a crime.

It's not a crime until it's been investigated, You're missing a word ;)

wrong

the application for a search warrant has to show the likelihood of a criminal act and be signed off on by a judge who accepts this to be the case. The warrant wouldn't be signed without that, especially in such a high-profile case, and guess what? he's not returned upwards of 15 boxes of documents he shouldn't be in possession of.

It's a criminal offense to hold classified documents outside of official controls. Did today's raid recover any classified documents from Donald Trump's house or not? It's a simple question with an obvious result if any classified documents were found. He was warned not to take any with him and he was subsequently told to return any that he had. The DOJ is going with the weakest, clearest cut offense in Trump's long chain of corruption and criminality. It's an offense that comes with time in the slammer. He, his children, and his associates have a long, established history of mishandling classified documents. The hypocritical Republicans have a history of thinking anyone who does should go to prison.

A crime is a crime, it’s reported, it’s investigated, evidence is gathered, a case is developed, charges are presented and arrest are made. prosecutors prosecute and the defense defends and jurors decide based on the evidence.

Yah that how it's supposed to work however in the past, especially against Trump the FBI has been charged with lying to FISA judges to obtain a warrant. McCabe and Comey signed off on FISA applications which left out exculpatory evidence and Clinesmith actually lied on a FISA app. A dishonest FBI is the problem. A subpoena first is FBI protocol then a warrant if necessary. The FBI is corrupt and politicized.

The FBI and the DOJ better have justification for this over reach

Alleged was the word you were looking for. I even gave you an out. ;)

Too bad that same premise wasn't held against Hillary Clinton who not only had classified info on an unsecured server but she delete 30,000 e-doc after being subpoenaed by the senate. She violated [ 18 U.S.C & 798] AND [18 U.S.C. & 1924] BUT THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT BEING TWO TIERED no referral for prosecution.

The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic.

Thus far, in bringing Donald Trump to heel for his multitude of corruptions and crimes, there has only been underreach. There is in this as well. He's been known to have taken classified material home for many months now. There is absolutely no question that that is against the law. He could have been doing anything with it in that time. He's an asset of the Russians, so it could all have gone there. There is no overreach with Trump. There's only dragging of feet getting the bastard traitor into prison.

Cheeto had all the time in the world during his tenure to do something about something if there had been a there there.

certainly had time to Tweet, do rallies at least four times a month and play golf on the weekends, though. go cry to him about his bricked campaign promise baskets.

It's the FBI doing their best to make sure Trump's re-elected.They're going to keep on pulling shit like this in an attempt to stop him running in 2024 and that's all it is. And you know what, he'll win in 2024, and at this point, more and more people are begiining to see that the FBI and the DOJ have gone rogue, and need to be shut down. Completely. They're now a threat to the Republic.
Have you ever read a comment and thought to yourself “that person doesn’t have the IQ of a crayon“? Well I have……
