Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I just heard the song Sharp Dressed Man being played, now it's got me wondering, What is a Sharp Dressed Man nowadays? Asking those that are attracted to men. I know its going to vary, sense preferences come into play.
I think that the broad general answer is a guy who looks like he dressed himself with care. Shirt does not look like it was just picked up off the floor. Jeans or whatever fit properly. Appears to have looked in the mirror to see if anything looked odd.

But more specifically there are so many more styles; a lot of it depends on where you are/what you're doing. I still love a guy in a button-down shirt, with or without tie.

I may be old fashioned - but I still like seeing a man in a suit.
Especially if the suit fits well and he has a tie that is not boring.
Shoes that are well cared for is a mark of a sharp dressed man imo

There is something about a suit that is very sexy. The layers to remove. The hand I can slide inside of his jacket and feel the warmth in the small of his back. When he loosens his tie just a bit. When I get chilled, the way I get enveloped in his scent when he drapes his suit jacket over my shoulders. I like the tease of his ass in a center cut suit jacket - makes me look...makes me watch the way he moves, makes me want to run my hand over his ass.

on the other hand... nothing wrong with blue jeans and boots either
I need to invest in some well tailored suits

I don't know. I like my men undressed lol.

In all serious, I think most think of it is nice suits and ties, well groomed, etc. I am still not sure as honestly, that is not my cup of tea. I like working men, men who aren't afraid to get dirty, rougher look, scruffy. Give me a pair of jeans with some dirt or grease any day. Suits are over rated, and please no scarfs or ascots, and I'd prefer less hair product than me, also prefer less eyebrow plucking than me. So yeah, I am so not the one to ask as my tastes are long out of style.
Sure but would you describe those guys as sharply dressed? Because I love that, too, scruffy and like you know how to do some real work, but I wouldn't describe it as a sharply dressed man.

I agree with this. Clothes must match the activity. Clothes that look well cared for and clean, not too fussy, not too high fashion, should not look like he is trying too hard. I agree that too much hair product or scent is off putting.

And well-tailored is important.

There's nothing less sexy than a guy in a jacket that's too big (or small) for his shoulders, sleeves the wrong length, looks like you're playing dress-up.
And when you take of the jacket, I can't stress this enough, rollup them sleeves to the elbow. Not above elbow to your upper arms. Not below elbow to your wrists. But to the elbow

That's your taste and is closer to many in Oklahoma. It's my look to be honest. After some hard work in the field or barn, I'll be sweaty, with a light coat of dirt/dust. I shave about once or twice a week. The only time I have my eyebrows plucked is when someone sees one waiving and they pinch it. There's multiple girls like you here in Oklahoma too. I've heard many in my past say "Ew" when they see a bougie guy.

I don't think it's an attire thing for me. A good suit, hot. A stong man in boots, jeans, and a shirt, hot. With me it's personal care. Does he brush, does he floss, does he shave/groom. Fashion by its nature is temporary, sunject to change. Washing your fucking balls before I go down on you, that's always good.

Now don't get me wrong, I've done bougie, but I am more drawn to down and dirty lol

Bougie guys can be totally ewww. like others have said - just show me you can dress yourself. That you take some pride in your appearance. This shines through even when in serious work clothes at the end of a hard working day.
the way the guys wear suits to do pharmaceutical visits to my office - very few of those can catch my eye. bad suits. suits that are all about projecting an image that is not who they are. As a counterpoint - there was one man who used to do drug detail at my office - he was SO sharply dressed. Took so much pride in his presentation and it was noticed by all, appreciated by most.
