Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Knit the qiviut. You are worth it.
(Yes, I know it's incredibly expensive... you ARE worth it.... use the good stuff)

I'm currently knitting up a sweater in a beautiful hand dyed silk-camel blend. sooooo lovely!
I wish I knew how to knit! I learned the basics about fifteen years ago but can’t remember… And I was never very good anyway 😂

Now this is curious. I'd always assumed angels would be shaved. I have absolutely no reason why I thought this, unless I've been making subconscious judgements based on plastic things stuck on Christmas trees. I'll ask the Bishop next time I see him for tea and cakes.

Wouldn't pubic hair be too short a staple to spin, though?
oh, I disagree, if Angels haven't earned the right to say screw it and go au naturale then well that is just unacceptable.

eta, shall the grooming habits of Angels become the little baby drama llama of the night. fingers crossed.

It would be, honestly. Like if you want to spin dog fur, you can't use the short guard hairs. Too short and coarse. Not that that exactly applies to angels, but still.

I bet those Christmas tree angels aren't anatomically correct, though. :ROFLMAO:

next you will try to have us questioning the anatomical correctness Barbie, Ken, and GI Joe.

Oh, I bet that feels wonderful.

It's really more that I just can't decide what I want to do with it. And for a while, I didn't know where it was. :ROFLMAO:

I'm knitting a shawl right now, and it's kidsilk haze, and so it feels pretty great, too.

You know very well that you have made yourself very unpopular all over the forum with your inappropriate posts and comments and now you're trying to ingratiate yourself here like nothing happened but, in reality, you're driving most people away from the thread.
I'm seeing plenty of posts still being made here and I've already stated earlier today that I've made an ass out of myself here the last few of days. I'll add now, from day one. Even so, some have said that its to be expected, some will come into the forums, not fully understanding of the dynamics of each forum. I'm trying to do better, can that not be acknowledged? Just because I made mistakes, does that mean I don't get to participate in the thread at all? Would it appease you for me to just fuck off and you never have to see/hear from me again? Is that what You want?

You have a history on the forum of repeating mistakes. You have to do what you think is right, not me.

I think knitting is a lovely way to self-soothe. That's my own impression from how it soothes me to sew and hand-quilt.

Agreed. I find hand work, knitting and English paper piecing to be very self soothing and better than anti anxiety meds. Do NOT deprive me of something to fiddle with in my hands that allows me to see tangible progress. Critical for my mental health

I am, and you still called me out and want action taken against me, when I have done nothing wrong today.

It's not the staple length that would be the problem... it's the type of fiber. Hair, human hair, beard hair, pubic hair, guard hair cannot be spun.

I have been known to stop and buy yarn and needles if I forgot to bring it with me. Even if I never touch it, I know it's there.

Do not take my stuff to play with away from me! Ever. It is not pretty.

Frankly, I think that’s for the better it can’t be spun. 🤣🤣🤣
Agreed... though the idea of spun angelic pubic hair (which could easily be spin-able... they are angels.... they might grow better fiber for spinning than quiviot or mountain goat, or camel or alpaca....) does seem like it would be amazingly soft, lustrous, warm when wet, lighter than air....
*starts to search for a new knitting pattern*
