You both raise great points. Not so many years ago, you could pay a compliment in the office environment (I don't mean rude or mean) and it was acceptable. But nowadays, you can almost say the same thing but indirectly, if you know what I mean.

However, certainly of the fetish club I frequent, it is completely acceptable. Last event I attended was a latex, leather, lace, and PVC theme. I bought a pair of PVC trousers to wear. I had no idea what would happen... My behind was groped a couple of times by Women, and several very non PC comments were made about how great I looked by Women too. I absolutely loved it! It's a shame we've lost that, but it's out there if you go looking for it and you dress a certain way...

If a woman drops her skirt, you can safely assume she is not looking for you to be gentlemanly. I do appreciate your can-do attitude! We can all find use use for at the very least a helping hand.
 
It may be nice to look at in pictures or read about in stories, but it isn't appropriate in a real office.
