oh week one was crazy and eye opening and awesome, I felt like the Belle of the Pervy Twisty Ball.

lessons learned. as soon as you turn on PMs, box filled up like in minutes (I now know a lot of men watch for fresh meat, and to look at peoples post history lol). Describing my age and my build didn't dissuade the messages, that surprised me as I was sure pushing 40 and chubby would not be what senders were looking for but I now know most of the men are my age or older. Acronyms, if it is abbreviated, probably sexual. Why a couple of the messages in the message onslaught were men telling me to change my user name (I wanted people to understand the perspective my stories were written from, what is wrong with my name. yeah the mom/son fetishist were not on my radar). What Kik was and why everyone wanted my user name once I was convinced to join. This insane notion that men thought I might be a man pretending to be a chick because they insisted "people do that", and they felt better if I verified with a live call on kik while I laughed at their crazy paranoid ass (I get it now). That men here were so fucking complimentary and nice. The first couple of men I went live with after trying to avoid video genuinely seemed shocked I looked like what I did (I think my profile was accurate). And they took my highly awkward uncomfortable deal in stride and actively tried to make me feel less nervous. That women were really rather stand offish (get it now, why bother when they are catfishers or come on for a few nights and leave). That the GB is so not the place to start your lit experience (seemed like it would be, general and all, nope nope just nope).

Yup, so completely different than the writing pointers I was hoping someone might be kind enough to provide if I asked nicely lol. Still haven't written that story.
