I'm racist because I said that I like tattoos on white skin than on black skin because the contrast makes it easier to see

I never bothered to clarify and let them think whatever they wanna

But few days later I was redeemed as not racist for saying that in my experience I've enjoyed more black standup comedians than white

We may be relatively anonymous because of the whole internet aspect, and we all have our own individual problems, but there is a lot of caring around here. I've been following the conversation over the last several minutes, and believe me, if we were all in a room together, every single one of us would want to give you a great big hug right now, myself included.

So many of us (especially me) are frustrated and angry at how many people use religion as an excuse to set up a social (and even economic) pecking order that in no way matches what the religious text says to do. I'm not a Christian, a Jew, a Muslim, or anything else, but it does seem to me that the people who tend to occupy the bottom of these orders tend to be the people most in need of the Christian notion of love for our fellow human beings. Failing that, so many of us as individuals can and do stand up to support and respect our fellow men and women who just need kindness and love.

You're hurting. I totally feel you on that one. I wish this wasn't so hard for you. I wish it wasn't so hard for so many people in the same boat. But I'm glad you spoke up about it, because now you don't have to carry that burden alone.
