I was only there for a weekend. I was leaving Korea after my contract and wanted to travel around S.E. Asia a bit… the cheapest flight was on the Taiwanese airline, but it required an overnight stop over, so I just decided to add a couple of days cuz why not? I was only in TaiPei, I think.

Taipei is awesome.

I was super lucky; a former student invited me to his wedding, so I had to go (because who's going to invite me to a wedding in Taiwan again?). I was in Iceland right before, so I flew from freezing Iceland to sweltering Taiwan (that took some crazy packing), and my son met me there, and after the wedding, we basically took a loop around the island so saw a little of everywhere.
