I've never had a pet of my own or babysit someone else's pet that isn't a dog or a cat. So the uncommon pets are so interesting to me even though some like lizards scare me enough that I won't touch them

Iguanas would be good for you then. They're quiet, no barking or anything.You don't really pet them. Their diet is simple, all things people get anyway. They're low maintnence, and chill. Most days Ramon just hangs in his enclosure for 18hrs, runs up and down the hall for twenty min, eats, then he chills across my shoulders, while i Watch a movie or play a game.
