If you can't draw a straight line, though, that is no obstacle at all to knitting! Completely different skill set. Just very minor manual dexterity and some patience.

Well now that you’ve removed the excuse of I can’t draw a straight line as my reason for not knitting. Now we are going with I just can’t bring myself to try. Not my style!

I much prefer to browse Lit and talk to random people than subject myself to knitting. Is sewing still a thing? My grandma use to do that all the time!

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 12, so....

Besides, you are missing all the pervy knitting choices! There are so many! (Some of these are crochet. I don't crochet but it's better for 3-d things.)
